What BDK expects from suppliers
Optimization of our global supply base is a key element of our global Supply Chain Management strategy. It is BDK’s responsibility to clearly communicate performance requirements to the supply base. This will allow suppliers to make improvements in key areas to better support BDK’s customer requirements. We expect our suppliers to collaborate with us to continuously improve quality, reduce cycle times and reduce total costs. In order to fulfill these expectations, we strive for proactive Supplier Relationship Management yielding mutually beneficial results.

We contribute to strategic supplier development by customizing development plans, sharing resources and technologies, exchanging best practices, and monitoring performance. BDK’s structured approach to Supplier Qualification, Supplier Performance Requirements, Supplier Performance Assessment and Supplier Development enables long term supplier success. Ultimately, this structured approach better supports our customers.
